Decided to begin work on the boosters as this would allow me to test some of the paint ideas I was going to use for the main model.Here you can see me gluing and sanding the boosters to remove their seam lines. It’s such a shame you can’t build it out of small cylindrical sections and not have to worry about seam lines at all! I used the Alclad grey primer to cover the seam line before sanding.  My Unicorn is not going to be plain white all over. I’m using grey as a contrast, so I’ve carried it through onto the boosters. I really like how the thrusters at the back came out. It’s so nice to have the thruster bells as two pieces so you can easily do an inside/outside colour scheme. And I did manage to get started on the cockpit and centre section.
